A custom Shopify theme I developed for editorial fashion stores — quiet luxury, shop-by-world merchandising, and a clean product catalogue.
Veloura is a custom Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme built from scratch for fashion and lifestyle brands that want restraint over noise. The homepage leads with a full-bleed lookbook hero (“Quiet luxury, considered”), then Shop by world tiles for Women, Men, Shoes, and Accessories, new arrivals, and a product grid with sale / sold-out states, wishlist, and quick view. Header chrome is minimal: catalog, contact, currency, search, and cart — so the photography stays first.
The challenge
Most Shopify fashion themes ship with stacked apps, loud promo bars, and generic section kits. Veloura needed a house-like canvas: editorial type, generous white space, collection worlds instead of a junk drawer mega-menu, and native Shopify checkout without a page-builder stack.
The solution
I developed the theme in Liquid with OS 2.0 sections and JSON templates so merchants can rearrange the hero, worlds, and product grids from the theme editor. Cart, search, and currency stay in Shopify’s native surface. A live demo URL will be added here once the storefront is published.
